The Mahogany is one of the best timbers in the World. It is favored because of its  red color and pretty grain and it has been used for many years  to make furniture.

The name mahogany was first used for wood of Swietenia mahagoni, sometimes referred to as Spanish or Cuban mahogany, later also for the wood of the closely related Swietenia macrophylla.

 This wood is famed for its use in making furniture  as easy to work, stable in use, and displays a beautiful   final polished finish.
